Chiropractic Treatment

What is Chiropractic care?

Chiropractic is a healthcare profession focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those related to the spine. The overall aim of Chiropractic care is to facilitate the body’s natural ability to heal itself without the need for medication or surgery.

Chiropractors use non-invasive techniques such as manual adjustments, mobilisations, and soft tissue therapies to relieve pain and improve mobility. They also provide patients with advice on exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health and well being.

In the UK, chiropractors are regulated by the General Chiropractic Council and must complete a rigorous 4-5 year university degree programme to become qualified healthcare professionals.

Free Appointment

Unsure whether Chiropractic may help your specific condition?

We offer a free 10-minute consultation where we can discuss your symptoms, give expert advice, and help advise whether chiropractic care or other treatment options could benefit you. This can be in person or over the phone and there is no obligation. If you choose to start care we can book you in for a full new patient consultation.

At the beginning of your consultation, we’ll ask you questions about your problem and then perform a physical assessment, which allows us to determine if and how we can help you.

Before doing any treatment we will relay the assessment findings to you and make some recommendations on how we can help you achieve the results you want, whilst working around your lifestyle. We will discuss treatment options with you, which include programmes tailored to your specific condition.

Once we’ve agreed your treatment plan, we will book in follow up appointments to provide your treatment.

We use the latest evidence-based techniques to give you the best possible results. We understand that one type of treatment doesn’t work for everyone, so we take a flexible approach and can tailor all treatment techniques based on your needs and preferences.

For existing patients only, who haven’t attended the clinic for over one year.

This appointment is for taking a fresh look at an existing problem to see how it has changed, or for assessing a new problem that has developed.

It’s common for existing problems to change, so re-examination appointments allow for a thorough reassessment based on your up to date medical history.

We also recommend re-examination appointments following completion of a treatment programme. This allows us to check whether the treatment is working, monitor progress and make any changes to your plan to make sure we’re getting the best results for you.
